Location/Facilities

Tournament Games will be held at Carlon Park Girls Fastpitch Facility and Gateway Sports Complex. Highlights include:
- Four lighted softball fields at each complex
- 200 ft. fences
- Covered dugouts
- Acres of warmup areas
- State-of-the-Art concession stands
- Ample restrooms
- Nearby playgrounds and green space
- Both fields within 10 minutes of each other, via I-82
- Close to numerous hotels, restaurants, and shopping
- Excellent field maintenance by experienced staff throughout the tournament

Entry Information

Step One: Register with www.registerasa.com . If you don’t already have an account, please fill out the information to receive a free account. A password will be sent to you via e-mail.

Step Two: Submit your team’s official ASA Roster, your personal Birth and Photo ID and Team Picture to your district JO/Commissioner.

Step Three: Your district JO/Commissioner will then complete the National Entry Form and send a district check, money order or certified bank check payable to "WASA District 4", in the amount of $350.00 to:.

**Deadline** All entry forms and fees must be received by noon on Friday, July 30, 2010

Tournament Format

Format: The tournament format will be 4GG, as follows:

- 2 games-pool play with two umpire mechanics
- Split to A & B brackets - 2 games-double elimination with two umpire mechanics (three umpires for semis and finals). There will be one berth to A Nationals – All other teams will be able to decide between playing as an A or B team. 18U A Western Nationals are in _________ ,and 18U B Western Nationals are in Yakima, WA. 18U A Regionals are in Idaho and 18U B are in Lacey, WA. - Pool games and Brackets with game times will be posted at www.wasadistrict4.org.

Pre-Tournament Social/Team and Player Registration/Coaches Meeting

A pre-tournament social for all coaches and team members will be held starting at 6pm on Thursday, July 8th at Carlon Park. Dinner and beverages will be provided. The Coaches Meeting will be held at 7pm at the same location.

Lodging

North Park Lodge, located at 659 N. Wenas Road in Selah, will be the Host Hotel for the tournament. For reservations, please call 509-698-6000. For help with other lodging arrangements, please call Rich Austin at the Yakima Valley Sports Commission at 800-221-0751 or email at rich@visityakima.com.

Organizing Committee

The tournament committee consists of members who have been responsible for the organization and implementation of many successful ASA Junior Olympic and championship tournaments over the past 20+ years.

Step Two: Compete in your State or Association Tournament to be eligible for participation. Submit your team’s official ASA roster, along with your personal Birth and Photo ID. We will accept teams coming directly from State or Association tournaments. Let your Tournament Director know what your plans are.

Step Three: Please send money order or certified bank check for $400.00 to the address below (note: Personal team checks will be accepted if coming directly from your State or Association Tournaments and being directly sent to this tournament via the Tournament Director).
