Selah Cyclones were the winners of the 14U B State Championship. The Cyclones were undefeated during the tournament. Friday they defeated Washington Bandits 8 to 0. Saturday they defeated Capital Outlaws 5 to 4, and a strong Kitsap Stingers 7 to 6. In the semi-finals Sunday, the Cyclones defeated Longview Tsunamis 9 to 2 in the semi finals. The Championship game was their final victory, defeating Elma Eagles 14 to 4.
Other placements in the State 14U B tournament were 3rd place Longview Tsunamis, 4th place Capital City Outlaws, 5th place tie Montesano Bulldogs and Ellensburg’s KC Hurricanes.
NW Shock was the winner of the 14U A State Championship. Friday the NW Shock defeated Tri-City Ringers 6 ton 2. Saturday the NW Shock played the Vancouver Angels, defeating the Angels 6 to 0. Sunday the NW Shock played two games on their way to being crowned undefeated Champion’s. The Shock defeated Walla Walla Xtreme in the semi-finals 2 to 1. NW Shock, in a very exciting game defeated the Longview/Kelso Renegades 5 to 3.
Other placements in the State 14U A tournament were: 3rd place Walla Walla Xtreme, 4th place Vancouver Angels, 5th place tie NW Tsunamis and Vancouver Patriots.
